Congrats to Martin Landis, Sommer Frazier, and Cela Kilmer!
Martin Landis
Martin is in his fifth and last year pursuing dual bachelor’s degrees in sociology from Emory University and in civil engineering from Georgia Tech. His main academic interests are in the governance of infrastructure systems and the effects of transportation infrastructure on social dynamics, particularly as a venue to build solidarity through collaborative movement. Outside of school, Martin plays volleyball, enjoys cooking and camping, and loves people watching from any cafe, stoop, or curb that will seat him.
Sommer Frazier
Sommer is a third-year civil engineering undergraduate student at Georgia Tech and plans to graduate in Spring 2028. She loves weightlifting, appreciating performing and visual arts, reading interesting books and research papers, and doing arts and crafts. Sommer completed an internship at the GDOT Traffic Management Center in 2025 and developed a passion for reducing commute times, creating safer pedestrian infrastructure, and expanding accessibility across Georgia.
Cela Kilmer
Cela Kilmer is an undergraduate student at the University of Georgia pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering. On campus, she serves as President of the German Student Organization and Captain of the ASCE Sustainable Solutions team. Following her expected graduation in Spring 2027, Cela plans to pursue a master’s degree in Urban and Regional Planning to focus on transportation and multimodal mobility.
